How long is a session?
A session lasts 1 hour
How frequent should one train with you?
It really depends on your individual fitness level, time constraints and health considerations. Usually it is recommended to train between 1-3 times per week. If you demonstrate discipline and knowledge about fitness and wellbeing, it is possible for me to write you program to do on your own between guided training sessions.
What are the Benefits of a personal trainer?
A trainer will:
• Assess your fitness level and set up a program that is specific to your needs and your realistic health goals
• Challenge you and motivate you to reach your goal
• Educate you on your lifestyle, nutrition and fitness
• Offer guidance to reduce injuries
How long will it take to see results?
A Fitness and Lifestyle consultant is here to educate and guide you the best way that they can. It is the individual’s discipline that determines their results in and away from training.
Do I need to consult a doctor before starting to Train?
After evaluating your fitness level and your health status a trainer will determine if a doctor’s clearance is recommended. It is the responsibility of the individual to be honest to themselves and to the trainer about any health issues.
What can a personal trainer do and not do?
A personal trainer is not a Physician and may not advice you on medications and serious health problems. A fitness and Lifestyle consultant is there to PREVENT injuries and health issues but cannot CURE any serious health matters. A personal trainer will tell you when you need to ask a Physician and that decision should be respected.
Where is it best to train?
You can train anywhere! Training doesn’t have to be in a gym. Your home, the beach or any other locations may add a different dimension to your training and will prevent boredom of the same routine.
